The summer season has started in Gran Canaria. This means that Pozo Izquierdo and Vargas is on. After a long break due to a camera failure, yesterday I went back to windsurfing photography. After a great windsurfing session, I grabbed my Nikon with a 150-600mm Tamron attached and did a little camera test. I’m happy to say that everything is working and I’m ready for the season. Here are some photos from yesterday afternoon (09/06/22). There were many very good windsurfers on the water, including Philip Koster. Vargas is his home spot, and for me it’s one of his favorite spots in Gran Canaria. There is less wind in Vargas than in Pozo Izquierdo, but it is still 30+ knots. If you can see yourself in any photo, please contact me for full quality without watermarks.
